“Part of what attracted me to USC's Viterbi School of Engineering was the emphasis on Engineering+, which is the idea of being more than just an engineer, but a multi-faceted student. Viterbi encouraged me to pursue my interests in engineering, business, and entrepreneurship, but the GCSP allowed me to apply my passions to tremendous challenges facing humanity today. The wide breadth of experience I gained as a Grand Challenge Scholar in the area of "Engineering Scientific Discovery" has served as a guiding force in my career in the aerospace industry to date, and continues to serve as a roadmap for my future aspirations.”
