Grand Challenges High School Posted10/2/2020 10:00:11 AM Students at Tesla STEM High School in Redmond, WA and Thomas A. Edison High School in Fairfax, VA work to address the National Academy of Engineering's 14 Grand Challenges and engineer a better world.Working with schools to incorporate STEM education in order to address these grand challenges is one of the goals of the 2017 Global Grand Challenges Summit.The 2017 Global Grand Challenges Summit (GGCS), jointly organized by the U.S. National Academy of Engineering, the U.K. Royal Academy of Engineering, and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, will be held July 18-20, 2017, on the campus of George Washington University in Washington, D.C. The GGCS series aims to spark global collaborations that lead to innovative ways of addressing critically important engineering challenges and opportunities and inspiring the next generation of change makers.
